I met Stevie Ray Vaughan in 1987 at the Midland International Airport in Midland, Texas. I was 16 years old. My brother (who was 15) and I saw him getting breakfast and we he stepped into the airport hallway, we went up to him and said “Hi Stevie” and he shook both of our hands.
I had the good fortune to meet Tommy Conwell last year. He also personally introduced me to the original line-up of the Young Rumblers (December 2005).
